Want More Photos?

You don't have to decide before your session! After viewing your gallery, you'll have the option to purchase additional professionally edited photographs.

  • Want to keep all of the usable photographs from your session? You can purchase your Full Session Collection for an additional fee.

    Your Full Session Collection includes all remaining usable photographs from your session with basic color and exposure corrections. Your package's selected images will still receive my full professional editing.

    The Full Session Collection does not include RAW files, duplicates, test shots, blurry photographs, closed-eye images, or photographs that do not meet Aurora Photography's quality standards.

  • Additional 30 Minutes — $50

    Cap & Gown Mini Session — $100

    Available for senior clients who would like to come back for cap and gown photos later in the school year.

  • Aurora Photography is based in the Scranton, Reeder, and Hettinger area and serves the surrounding communities of southwestern North Dakota.

    Sessions within my regular service area have no additional travel fee.

    Have a location in mind that's a little farther away? I'm happy to travel! Sessions outside my regular service area may include an additional travel fee depending on the distance.

What to Expect

Getting your photos taken shouldn't feel complicated or stressful. From booking your session to receiving your finished gallery, I'll be here to help make the process simple, comfortable, and fun.

1. Reach Out

Start by sending me a message through my contact page and tell me a little about what you're looking for. We'll talk about the type of session you want, possible dates, locations, and any ideas you already have in mind.

2. Choose Your Session

Once we figure out what you're looking for, you'll choose the session package that works best for you. We'll confirm your date, time, and location, and I'll send over everything you need to officially get your session on the calendar.

3. Let's Plan

This is where we make the session feel like you. We can talk about outfits, locations, props, hobbies, or anything else you'd like to include. If you're not sure what to wear or where you want to go, don't worry. I'm happy to help with ideas!

4. Session Day

Now for the fun part! You don't need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I'll guide you through the session while still leaving room for the natural, in-between moments that make your photos feel genuine.

5. Your Proof Gallery

After your session, I'll go through your photos and select the best images from the day. You'll receive a proof gallery where you can choose the number of favorites included with your package.

Love more than you expected? You can purchase additional images or upgrade to your Full Session Collection.

6. The Finishing Touches

Once you've chosen your favorites, I'll professionally edit each selected image in my photography style. I take the time to make sure your finished gallery feels polished while still looking natural and true to you.

When Your Photos Are Ready!

Once everything is finished, you'll receive your high-resolution digital images in an online gallery where you can download, save, share, and print your favorites.

If you'd like something physical to keep, you can also add a Keepsake USB or upgrade to the Full Session Collection + Keepsake USB.

Then they're yours to enjoy, share, print, frame, and look back on for years to come.
